Lynx v0.3.0 focuses on more reliable Melee and EventLink event-data recognition, improving the accuracy of match scores, draws, and drop status while reducing the risk of clearing existing tables when importing a filtered subset.
01
New Features
More accurate match scores
Lynx can now extract Player 1 wins, Player 2 wins, and drawn games directly from Melee and EventLink. Actual results such as 1–0, 3–2, and 0–0–3 are preserved instead of being reduced to a default best-of-three score.
New round-detection logic
Table state and round information are reset only when Lynx clearly identifies a complete new round. Importing a filtered subset now updates only the corresponding tables without affecting existing states elsewhere.
Manual table reset
A new Reset button clears scores, time extensions, colors, notes, and other match state across all tables. A confirmation step helps prevent accidental resets.
02
Melee Fixes
Fixed draw results such as 0–0–3 and 1–1–0 not being recognized.
Fixed actual scores being lost or shown as a default 2–0, and corrected reversed score order when Player 2 wins.
Failed parsing no longer becomes an incorrect zero score, and no score is written when the winning player cannot be matched by name.
Added compatibility with Chinese and English Melee backends, including “胜 / won,” “平局 / Draw,” and “未报告 / Not reported.”
Fixed the “all players absent” state when both players drop, with stronger bilingual drop-status recognition.
03
EventLink Fixes
Fixed 0–0–3 draws not being recognized correctly.
Fixed actual match scores not being extracted and the frontend showing only default scores.
Improved score parsing when Draw data is present.
04
Compatibility
The new Lynx release provides more accurate actual scores to compatible frontends.
Older data without explicit scores continues to work with the existing fallback logic.
BO1 sources such as GEM retain their current result format and are unaffected.
